Oxford International Film Festival is pleased to announce that Hollywood star and Oxford University alumni Rosamund Pike will be attending this year’s festival and taking part in a Q&A after the screening of the short film The Human Voice in which she stars.

Adapted from the play by Jean Cocteau, The Human Voice is an unflinching portrait of a woman's heartbreak over the course of a final telephone conversation between lovers.

Pike, who is best known for her lead role as Amy Elliott Dunne in Gone Girl, for which she was nominated for both an Oscar and a BAFTA, and as Bond Girl Miranda Frost in Die Another Day will discuss the film and take questions from the audience after the screening.

The film plays as part of Short Session 2 on Sunday 13th May at Oxford Curzon at 5:50pm and will bring the festival to a close.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased via the Curzon website or in person at the box office.
