OXIFF 2017 reached over half a million people in the Oxford area.
Promotion for the 2017 Oxford International Festival had its widest reach yet, engaging over half a million people in the Oxford area. This growth was driven by increased press interest in the event with the Oxford Mail, Daily Info, BBC Radio Oxford and multiple student publications in the city covering the event.
This was coupled with the strong PR and social campaign run by the Phoenix Picturehouse, which included dedicated email blasts to their members and the festival trailer playing ahead of every screening at the cinema for a month leading up to the event.
The OXIFF marketing team was also out in force delivering 10,000 free festival guides and putting up 400 posters around the city.
OXIFF will be going all out yet again in 2018 with more great stories from the world of independent film.
